BRAIN DEAD STUDIOS 2/26/26 @7PM

Antiko was founded by Iranian-American artist and born & bred Angeleno Savannah Abrishamchian in June 2026 while at a crossroads with the entertainment industry. As a multi-faceted creative, Antiko laid the foundation for Savannah's artistic puzzle pieces to converse and growth with each other. Surrounded by a musical family, Savannah spent most of her childhood dancing and singing aside from her usual arts & crafts. She earned a B.A. in English from University of San Diego where she was dedicated to poetry readings and literary magazine production. Post-college, Savannah blossomed as Spotify's Jr. Writer for the ¡Viva Latino! Video Playlist, writing short docu-style content for artists such as Ricky Martin and Demi Lovato. Soon after, she landed in Creative Artists Agency's TV Scripted department under Tony Etz and later served as the right hand to Jenni Konner where she grew in Development.

Savannah then spent four years at Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions as a Jr. Exec, Development Coordinator where she was instrumental in the naming, curation, and production of The New York Times Best Seller Out There Screaming: An Anthology of New Black Horror Edited by Jordan Peele. She was the Associate Producer for Ariel Zengotita’s short film IMAGO, a NO DRAMA short film select in partnership with Monkeypaw, Toronto International Film Festival, and Universal Pictures. The film is also a SXSW 2026 nominee for the Narrative Short Competition. In her earlier days at Monkeypaw, Savannah grew under former Development & Production Executives Christopher Rosati and Jasmyne Peck across podcasts, film, and TV, serving as Rosati's Producer's Assistant on the final seasons of Amazon Prime's Hunters created by David Weil and The Last O.G. on TBS.

In May 2025, Savannah began acting as her own producer entity, fostering a creative community through an independent magazine and signing on as an Executive Producer to Cosmo Brusa Zappellini's experimental documentary short EVEN NOW, an official selection of the Loft Film Fest and Big Bear Film Festival, and a cultural sell out as the opening preview for Brain Dead Studios' screening of Josh Bailey's Stolen Kingdom. Upon the creation of Antiko, Savannah landed at Amblin in August 2025 to support the President of TV & Documentaries, Darryl Frank, while moonlighting as an independent artist.

Savannah’s original pieces Alalia and Lolll Same. can be seen in San Francisco's The Racket. Savannah adapted her poem Alalia into a short film which she directed during the pandemic in 2021. The piece won awards for Outstanding Achievement First Time Director Female and Outstanding Achievement Best Women Short for the Indie Short Fest in 2021, in addition to gaining a Certificate of Achievement as an Annual Finalist. The film was also nominated for Best Performance Piece, Experimental for the 2022 Micheaux Film Festival, and more. Savannah is currently in pre-production for Antiko's first original short film, Id, a film by John Pope starring Michelle Farrah Huang. Savannah was most recently a candidate for the 2026 Sundance Development Lab for her first feature film script, Sparky, which she is actively developing with her closest friends as a love letter to her complex upbringing, Middle-Eastern identity, and life in Los Angeles.
